As a business owner and professional wedding photographer with over 20 years of experience, I am passionate about capturing life's most meaningful moments. Beyond my career, I am a dedicated caregiver, an adherence case manager for a community organization, and a former dancer and singer in a community chorus.
Having won several international and national pageants, I also actively work in production, judge various pageants, and proudly wear my favorite title: Grandma. Whether I am traveling, gardening, working on puzzles, or volunteering alongside my children and grandchildren, community involvement remains at the heart of everything I do.
My platform is Hidden Disabilities which focuses on raising awareness for hidden disabilities. When I first became a caregiver, I stepped into a world I never knew existed, where I witnessed firsthand the harmful impact of people staring and questioning my loved ones based on appearances.
To combat this, I am currently developing educational tools, speaking to small groups, and sharing resources on social media to educate others on empathy, inclusion, and the dangers of snap judgments.
