Miss Black Royal International - Shateryn Lampkin
Shateryn Lampkin, known to most as "Shay", is a proud student at Oklahoma State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Multimedia Journalism. Passionate about storytelling and community impact, she currently serves as President of the Oklahoma State University chapter of the NAACP, leading initiatives centered on advocacy, leadership, civic engagement, and student empowerment.
Shay's pageant journey began during the 2025–2026 Miss Black and Old Gold Scholarship Pageant, where she was named First Runner-Up and crowned Miss Epsilon Epsilon. That experience ignited her passion for pageantry as a platform for service, confidence, and representation, ultimately leading her to the Miss Black Royal International Organization.
As Miss Black Royal International, Shateryn is committed to using her voice to inspire others through her platform, "Confidence Through Self-Love", which encourages individuals to embrace their worth, challenge unrealistic beauty standards, and cultivate confidence from within. She is also the founder of "Queen's Confidence Closet", a community initiative dedicated to providing women and girls with access to professional attire, formalwear, and resources that help them walk confidently into life's biggest opportunities.
Beyond pageantry, Shateryn is an aspiring content creator and multimedia journalist who believes authentic storytelling has the power to change lives. Through workshops, mentorship, community outreach, and meaningful conversations, she strives to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to become the best version of themselves. Whether she is speaking to students, serving her community, or advocating for the next generation of leaders, her mission is simple: to help others discover that confidence begins from within.
