Teen Black Royal International - Lauren Tally
Born and raised in Oklahoma City Lauren is a 15-year-old leader, author, and entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of The LST Writing, a youth - focused company dedicated to empowering the next generation of writers and addressing the literacy crisis in her community and beyond. A published author of two books, Lauren has been writing since elementary school and uses her voice as a writer and poet to inspire others through storytelling and advocacy.
Growing up in Oklahoma, a state ranked 50th in education and literacy, she witnessed firsthand how low literacy rates held back my classmates and peers. To create change, she founded The LST Writing, a company with a mission to inspire the next generation of young writers and provide every child with the opportunity to experience the joy of literacy. She believes reading and writing are not just academic skills, but powerful tools of empowerment, identity, and future success. As Teen Miss Black Royal International, she plans to use her title to expand this mission, raise awareness, and ensure that all young people have the same chance to discover the power of words that I was fortunate to find.
Beyond her business, she is a high school sophomore who leads in school organizations, volunteers actively in her community, and enjoys creative outlets like baking and journaling. Lauren is passionate about uplifting young people, creating opportunities for literacy and self-expression, and showing that age is never a limit to impact.
As Miss Black Royal International Teen, Lauren hopes to represent young women of color with pride, purpose, and poise, using her platform to promote literacy, inspire youth, and encourage others to pursue their dreams with confidence.
