All contestants will compete in a personal and private interview. Little Miss - Pre Teen will have a 5-minute interview with easy, age-appropriate questions. Teen - Mrs. will have a 7-minute panel style interview. These questions will be based on queen's platform, community service, political and social issues. A one-page resume style typed fact sheet will be required for Teen - Mrs. Little Miss delegates may have one person in the interview room with them. Attire is age appropriate, business or jump suit, professional attire, no bare midriff in any age division.
Each princess will showcase their unique personalities and passions. Share your aspirations, and the platforms they advocate for. A well-executed introduction not only highlights the contestant’s confidence and poise but also reflects their dedication to the values of MBRI. Effective on-stage introductions engage the judges and audience, affirm the contestant's commitment to making a positive impact in their community, and having fun! Each delegate will have a 90 second speech about their platform. How did you choose your platform? How does it impact today’s society? Plans with platform in the present and future. Attire is official MBRI shirt, white jeans, and white converse with white shoestrings.
All delegates will model an outfit of their choice. Anything from state wear to a fashion forward statement. Be unique and show your personality. Strut your modeling skills across stage. No bare midriff pre-teen and under. Attire should be appropriate, flattering, and tailored to the contestant.
All delegates will model a gown of their choice on stage. Little Miss will wear a short dress. Jr Miss may model a short or long gown. Pre-Teen and up will model a long gown. Pre- Teen cannot be strapless or have a slit. Teen and up may have a split in the gown but must be no higher than 2 inches above the knee. Miss - Mrs. may have any slit as long as the dress is tailored. Gowns should be age appropriate, flattering, and tailored to the contestant. Show your poise and elegance on stage.
Each delegate will give a maximum 45 seconds, on-stage question and answer. This is where you will be asked a question based platform, community service, social issues, and pageantry. Focus on branding yourself on stage with your answer. Attire will be your evening gown.
